Established in 1999, MedInnovation GmbH is a privately-owned biotech company focused on life science. Since 2005 we are certified as medical device manufacturer according to DIN EN 13485.

The albumin-functionality-test (AFT) developed by us, is a laboratory diagnostic platform for different diseases. This complexly developed technology allows analysis of albumin properties as highly informative biomarker for detection of severe diseases in an early state, as well as for therapy monitoring due to high correlation with disease progression. Focus areas of our current R&D pipeline are cancer, liver diseases and sepsis.
